Luca Tangi, PhD, is a researcher and scientific project officer at the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission. Since 2021, he has been conducting research on the development, uptake, and impact of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence in the public sector. In this context, he collaborates with the Public Sector Tech Watch initiative. He earned his PhD from the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. His doctoral work focused on understanding how Information and Communication Technologies affect public service delivery and transform the structure and organization of public administrations.
